Vanha Ylioppilastalo, the Old Student House, is a historic venue located in the heart of Helsinki. Its laid-back, student-inspired charm reflects its origins, offering a casual and lively atmosphere for gatherings.
This program is an optional social event and it is not part of the registration fee. Tickets are available for 85 EUR/ticket. If you have already registered for the congress, but not the party, you can order a ticket via email.

Opening Ceremony & Welcome Reception

Where: Finlandia Hall (Congress venue)
Begin the Congress with the Opening Ceremony, an occasion to gather and connect with colleagues from the global hand surgery and therapy community. Following the Wednesday Educational afternoon, the ceremony offers a welcoming start to the event, accompanied by a Welcome Reception.
Participation is included in the registration fee.
For accompanying persons the ticket is 85 EUR.
Presidential Dinner

Where: Restaurant NJK (Valkosaari island)
The Secretary General of FESSH and Congress Presidents invite presidents of FESSH Member Societies to the FESSH Presidential Dinner.
The NJK restaurant, located on the picturesque Valkosaari Island in Helsinki, offers a unique dining experience surrounded by stunning waterfront views. Known for its historic charm and maritime atmosphere, it is especially delightful in summer. The long Nordic evenings and serene surroundings create an unforgettable setting to enjoy Finnish culinary traditions in an elegant environment.
